ICE PALACE

The modern sports and concert complex Ice Palace was constructed especially to host the 2000 Ice Hockey World Championship.
This five storied building with an area of 37 000 sq. meters is capable to host over 14 000 visitors. Its multifunctional complex is ideal to hold sports competitions of the highest level on a variety of sports including tennis tournaments, boxing, basketball and hockey matches and figure skating competitions.
The arena is multifunctional, with excellent acoustics conditions, high-speed telephone and internet connection, video conference facilities and a modern indicator board video projector.
The Ice Palace is accommodated with comfortable VIP-boxes, restaurants for 250 seats, cafes, bars, shops, a terrace-restaurant with the view over arena and so much more.

Completed in 1980, with its 193 meters in diameter and 40 meters high the
St. Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex is one of the largest covered sports arenas in Europe. It has hosted international tournaments and world championships in various sports disciplines, including football, tennis, figure skating, volleyball, handball and fencing.
The main hall of the Complex has an area of 10 000 square meters and can accommodate up to 25 000 visitors. The adjacent section, covering
3 500 square meters and housing a foyer, spacious conference hall, press center, bars and cafe is capable of hosting nearly any high-level sports event.

YUBILEYNY SPORTS PALACE |

Built in 1967 Yubileyny remains one of the leading sports centers in St. Petersburg .
On the threshold of the 2000 Ice Hockey World Championship reconstruction of the Yubileyny Sports Palace took place. Now the Main Arena grandstands accommodate up to 6500 spectators, including 40 seats in VIP–box. There is also the press box for 180 seats and a sports box for 70 seats.
In 2000 the Small Arena came into operation adding 1 800 seats to the overall Ybileyny capacity.
Premises for sportsmen and press equipped according to modern standards provide various means of communication, medical service and others.
